If the tablet connected to your TinyLineMarker Sport robot displays an "Obstruction Detected" error, several factors could be causing this. Follow the guide below to identify and resolve the issue.
1. The Robot Has Detected an Actual Obstruction
The most common cause of this error is a physical obstruction in the robot's path. Check the robot's surroundings and remove any obstacles. Once clear, press "OK" on the tablet to resume the job.
If there are no visible obstacles, continue to the next step
2. The Robot's Sensors Were Briefly Triggered
The sensors can sometimes be triggered by objects passing in front of the robot, like people or a rolling ball. To resolve this press "OK" on the tablet to dismiss the error and resume the job. If the issue persists, continue to the next step.
3. The Robot is Detecting High Grass or a Noisy Environment
Very tall grass or a loud environment can sometimes trigger the ultrasound sensors. If the issue persists in these conditions, you can temporarily disable the collision detector in the app settings. However, we recommend using this option with caution.
How to Disable the Collision Detector:
- Tap the gear icon in the top left corner of your home screen to access the settings menu.
- Locate and tap on the "Robot Settings" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Safety" section and toggle the "Collision Detector" switch to the off position.
If the issue continues even with low grass and in a quiet environment, there may be a malfunction in the ultrasound sensors or box. Please contact support for further assistance. You can find their contact information here.
