Selecting the Settings symbol in the top left corner of the main screen opens the Settings menu. Browsing through the categories to the left, you can adjust many aspects of robot behavior.
General
Controls general settings such as language, units etc.
- Map: Control how your map looks and behaves.
- Display: Refers to how points are displayed when using points for geometric shapes.
- Screen timeout: Control power-saving settings for the tablet screen.
- Low power timeout: Control when the app will shut down automatically.
- Language: Change the language of the app user interface.
- Units: Switch between meters, feet and yards.
Robot Settings
- Joystick speed: Adjusts the speed of the robot when you drive it manually using the joystick.
- Drive speed: Adjusts the speed of the robot when it is driving automatically without painting.
- Spray speed: Adjusts the speed of the robot when it is driving automatically and painting a line.
- Paint settings: Choose nozzle type and set the default line width.
Adjusting these settings can help you fine-tune your line painting. For example, slowing down the Spray Speed will give more visible lines, but also require more time and paint.
Robot Driving Behavior
Line Run-up: Before line
When the robot starts painting a line, it needs to drive a short distance leading up to the start of the line. This allows the robot to get ideal orientation before actually painting the line. The longer the run-up distance, the better the result. This setting allows you to adjust the run-up distance.
In some cases, clear space around the field is limited due to fences and similar. In such cases, it will be necessary to reduce the run-up distance.
This setting is applied to all fields painted by the robot.
Line run-up: On line
Sometimes when painting a field, the robot needs to drive back to a partially painted line to complete that line. An example would be a soccer field: The robot paints half of the side line and stops, then paints the center line and center circle, then returns to the side line to complete that line. To get the best result, the robot needs a run-up on the already painted line before continuing the line. These settings allow you to adjust that run-up distance. The longer the run-up distance, the better the result.
This setting is applied to all fields painted by the robot.
Safety Distance to Post
When the robot paints the goal line and nears the goalposts, it will turn around and reverse for the last 2 meters. This allows the robot to paint up until the posts, as the paint tool is placed on the back of the robot.
Even though the diameter of the goalposts are set by the template, this setting adds an additional distance to the posts to accommodate measurement errors and post diameter variations.
This setting is applied to all fields with posts painted by the robot.
Fluent Drive
Fluent Drive limits the number of times the robot makes sharp turns, which reduces the risk of it getting stuck in wet or muddy conditions. Fluent Drive requires up to 5 meters of open space around the field.

Safety
Check the Collision Detector to turn on ultra-sound detection. This is only an option for TinyLineMarker Sport. This will make the robot:
- Slow down if it detects objects or people within 2 meters
- Stop if it detects objects or people within 1 meter
Warnings
Check the Show "No paint" warning, to get a warning displayed on the app interface when the robot is out of paint.
Robot Customization
Name your robot and make it part of the team!
Templates
Click on "Details" to examine the individual field templates contained within each template set. By selecting the checkbox adjacent to a template group, all fields from that group will be concealed on the background map. This can be advantageous in cases where multiple saved fields overlap, such as when the same areas are used for different seasonal sports.
Users of TinyLineMarker Sport have the option to acquire additional template groups under the "Available Templates" section.
