1. Creating a new Field

Open your Tablet and create a new Field
Go to “+ New Field”

Navigate to “Grid Templates”

Create a new Field from a Grid Templates:
- select “Coverage Standard” and “Multiple points”
- Click on “Create field”

2. Field Measurements

Collect points around the boundary of your field. Drive the robot to e.g. the home plate or a corner and start here:

A point will be collected when you press the blue Collect button
To create a smooth as possible curve on the intersection line between grass and dirt or at the fence line you’ll have to collect +10 points
4 points need to be collected for e.g. a soccer field (on in each corners)

3. Setting the Line Spacing

Ensure that the line spacing is set to 10 ft (3 meters). If it is not, adjust the setting in Advanced Editing:

Click on the Field Navigate to “Modify” > “Edit” > “Advanced”

Change the line spacing settings to 3 (meters)

Go to next step

4. Converting lines into Robot Path

Make sure to tap each line individually and continue tapping it until it turns pink, confirming that it has been converted into a robot path
This ensures that the robot will not spray while scanning the field.

Press “OK” and “Save”

5.Selecting the Field to Scan

Select the field you want to scan by tapping it and press “Start”. (Be aware that it does not change color when you click on it, only a red dot appears)

6. Scanning process

The robot will now start scanning your field

IMPORTANT: Write down the time for when scanning starts and stops. It needs to be filled into the form on the landing page

7. Data Handover

When the scan is done go to “https://tinymobilerobots.com/elevation-mapping/” as soon as possible, follow the instructions on the webpage to order your report, book a time for getting the scan downloaded and handed over to TMR
Important: Do not have the robot powered on for more than 4 hours between completing the scan and the scheduled handover of files to TMR. You can still paint and use the robot as normal but the time the robot is on must not exceed 4 hours.

8. You will receive a Sports Field Elevation Report

After the data handover has taken place you’ll receive the Elevation Report in your inbox within 3 business days.
