Before storing the robot for an extended period of time, for example over the winter, we recommend that you observe the following guidelines, in order to make sure that your robot is in good shape for the next season.
Clean the robot
Before putting the robot into storage, it is important to clean it thoroughly. Follow the usual procedure for cleaning, but be extra thorough, and make sure all paint residue is removed from the spray system. The more paint residue you are able to remove the better.
Empty system of paint
- Unscrew the lid of the paint container and remove the hoses.
- Take the blue return hose and place it back into the container. Press the yellow button.
- When the paint is no longer flowing back into the container, press the yellow button again.
Rinse the system with water
- Place the transparent suction hose in warm water and the blue return hose in a residual container.
- Press the yellow button to rinse the system.
Rinse nozzle
- When clean water is coming out of the blue return the hose, press and hold the blue button. This will activate and rinse the nozzle.
- When clean water is coming out of the return hose and nozzle, press the yellow button.
Clean nozzle parts and filters
- Dismount nozzle parts and filters.
- Clean the parts with a soft brush and warm water.
- Store the nozzle and filter in a bottle of water. This way, you extend the lifespan of both the nozzle and filter.

Battery care
Remove the robot battery from the robot, and store the robot battery and the tablet at room temperature (20-27°/ 68-80°F).
In order to increase the lifespan of the battery, make sure to charge it fully once every month. Do not keep it plugged in.
See the battery guide for more information on battery safety measures.
Robot storage
While in storage, the robot should not be subject to rain, frost, or large changes in humidity. Don't put stuff on top of the robot. The robot should be stored at room temperature (20-27°/ 68-80°F), and we advise you to keep the room where the robot is stored under a lock.
