The Line Run-up is the distance the robot travels in a straight line before it begins painting. This helps the robot accurately determine its starting position, ensuring straight lines. A short Line Run-up (0.5m/1.64 feet - 1m/3.28 feet) may cause the robot to start slowly, resulting in slightly heavier paint application at the beginning of the line. A longer Line Run-up allows the robot to reach the speed set in Robot Settings before painting.
The arrow in the picture visually represents the length of the line run-up, which can be adjusted in the settings.
If you are painting a field close to a fence or other tall obstacles, the Line Run-up can be decreased to paint lines within the available space.
How to:
1. Select the field you want to adjust. Tap "Modify", then "Edit" and then "Advanced".
2. Enable “Set line run-up”.
3. Enter the desired distance for the specific layout.
4. This setting will overrule the default set in “Robot Settings”.
