It is important to prepare the spray system prior to painting.
- Press the yellow button to activate the pump.
- Paint will now be sucked into the suction hose. The system is primed when paint flows continuously back into the paint container.
- Press the blue button, and hold it for a few seconds to prime the nozzle.
- Press the yellow button again to turn off the pump.
The pump is not priming
If your pump isn't priming, here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
Check for power:
- Can you hear or feel the pump running? (Place your hand on the pump to check for vibrations).
- If the pump isn't running, ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the pump and the robot.
- If the pump still doesn't receive power despite the cables being connected, we recommend contacting support.
Clean the pump:
- If your pump has power but still won't prime, you can try cleaning it using the tablet features and hot water. Please click the link for a precise description of what to do How do I clean the robot?
- If the pump still won't prime after cleaning, you can remove the pump head to clean its internal components. Please click the link for a precise description of what to do How do I clean or replace the pump head diaphragm?
